Thanks to Caitlin Friedman from Girl's Guide (PR pro and mom to 4 y.o. twins) here are her tops tips:
- Call the hotel ahead of time and arrange two cribs for the room.
- Travel with car seats so you can put them in the rental car, and strap them in the plane seat (and I'm still looking for the best way to get these suckers on wheels).
- Splurge and get baby a seat so they can sleep on the plane.
- Feed babies them when taking off to reduce air pressure in ears.
Dream vacation: Four Seasons, Costa Rica

Hey there, here's some twin travel tips from How Do You Do It?
Our best friend, the Travelmate, beats hauling a double stroller through the airport, especially if you're going to need those carseats on the plane.
General travel advice from our very first Ask the Moms segment.
I totally agree that having at least one extra seat, if not two, is a big help when flying with twin babies under 2 years old. This year I found that the CARES seat belt works awesome so that we don't have to have those huge car seats with us, especially for the two flights when I've flown with my little guys alone this year. Rental car companies have car seats available or you can check them with luggage.
I have to second the GoGo Kids Travelmate. Oh wait, I'm the one who wrote the review for How Do You Do It? It is THE WAY to put car seats on wheels. I've used mine many times and lend them out to friends to use.
my best tip, would be take a extra person with you,no one person could do it alone, not with 2 infants, ive got 3 grandchildren under the age of 1,so that seems like triplets,an i need something that i can push them in at least 2 at a time,an hold on to a toddler too, thanks
Traveling with twins can be enjoyable if one is prepared. Be prepared to be firm with TSA people regarding the amount of liquids and baby food you bring. many will at first deny all liquids when there allowances for infants and small children.
I recently won the twin double stroller from this post and I'm really excited! I don't have twins, but I do have 2 that are 15 months apart (26 months and 11 months right now.) Since we didn't plan to have 2 that close together, we also didn't plan to have a stroller to push both of them around and I've been borrowing a double stroller from my mom. It'll be nice to be able to give hers back, so she can push her grandkids around. :)
Thank you Momtrends for hosting such a great giveaway and also to Chicco for sponsoring it. I'm looking forward to trying out my new stroller!
